Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band

IT may seem strange for Bruce to be mentioned on a web site focused on business management …perhaps the first time ever! But we believe that all the motivational speaker talk about teams and what makes them can be summed up by Bruce and his band. Not for us the usual rugby or football team idealism.


Bruce has been at the top of his profession for 35 years, with the same team! Any sporting analogies to compete with that? In addition the band ethos is about total synergy and teamwork. They don't have a team talk way through the concert, or forget a song and start again. They go on stage and perform for 4 hours and sometimes never even talk to each other. Because they have the following attributes;

Total Synergy
Focus
Energy
Team work
One goal

And the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.


And the moral?


That if we can build teams that have the values and longevity of Bruce we'll all be winners.
